Before You Arrive
Check the shift details in your Vortexorce app: exact address, start time, who to report to, and any dress code requirements. Plan your route — arrive 10-15 minutes early. Charge your phone (you'll need it for QR check-in). Pack: ID, phone, water bottle, packed lunch/snacks, steel toe boots if warehouse/construction.
When You Get There
Find the site entrance and look for the QR code sign or reception. Open the Vortexorce app, scan the QR code to check in — this records your arrival time. Report to the supervisor or team leader named in your shift details. They'll give you a brief induction: site rules, health and safety, fire exits, break times, and your tasks for the day.
During Your Shift
Follow instructions carefully — ask questions if unsure. Work at a steady, sustainable pace. Take your breaks when told (don't skip them). Be friendly to colleagues — you're the new person, first impressions count. Don't use your phone during work (except for emergencies). Report any hazards or issues to your supervisor immediately.
End of Shift
Scan the QR code again to check out — this records your leaving time. Thank your supervisor and ask if they need you again. Your hours are now logged in the system automatically. Check your Vortexorce app to confirm the hours are correct. If there's a discrepancy, report it through the app within 24 hours.
